DiffEngineX is a practical utility that offers you a complete statistical show of the differences between two Microsoft Excel worksheets or projects. Over time, worksheets get modified, and have new rows and columns inserted, and this can cause confusion and difficulty to identify certain cells. To avoid this problem you can use DiffEngineX to make a comparison of the differences between two worksheets.



The traditional reports of comparisons and differences are usually hard to understand, due to the context (or lack of it). For this reason DiffEngineX has an option to create automatic copies of compared projects, and modifiy them after so that the differences are highlighted in a different colour. It uses different colours to show modifications, deletions and insertions.



The main features of DiffEngineX:



* Compares formulas and constants between projects and worksheets.

* It alligns rows and/or columns with similar content (minimizing small differences).

* It creates a report of differences in a new worksheet.

* There is the option to highlight the parts of a formlua and the text constants that differ in the report.

* General highlighting of all the differences, at cell level.

* You can choose if you want to compare cells, or their already calculated values.

* The reports can group the changes made if they correspond to the adjacent cells.



NOTE: For DiffEngineX to work correctly you need Microsoft .NET Framework installed in your PC, and obviously any version of Microsoft Excel.
